The Opera Next Door - Stoop Concert
Melanie performs with The Opera Next Door in “An Operatic Melting Pot” as part of their Stoop Concert series. The performance will take place on the stoop of 413 W. 21st St between 9th and 10th Aves. Melanie sings “The Girl in 14 G” and “Glitter and be gay”.

2026 Sherrill Milnes VOICE Gala - Celebrating Legacy
Melanie performed on the 2026 Sherrill Milnes VOICE Gala, raising money for the VOICExperience Foundation. This year’s honorees include soprano and voice teacher Carol Vaness, director Fabrizio Melano, and composer Michael Ching.
Oratorio Society of New York - Lyndon Woodside Oratorio Solo Competition - FINALS
Melanie competed as one of eight finalists in the Lyndon Woodside Oratorio Solo Competition presented by the Oratorio Society of New York. She took home that Leopold O. Damrosch Award in the amount of $1,000, and this performance marked her debut at Carnegie Hall.

Melanie competed as one of 22 semi-finalists in the Lyndon Woodside Oratorio Solo Competition presented by the Oratorio Society of New York. She moved on to the Final Round.
The Opera Next Door presented by Marine Park Alliance
Melanie performed with The Opera Next Door as part of an event hosted by the Marine Park Alliance in Marine Park, Brooklyn. The event celebrated Women’s History Month and women of Italian-American descent. Melanie performed “Quando m’en vò” from Puccini’s La Bohème and Fiordiligi in “Ah guarda, sorella” (duet) from Mozart’s Così fan tutte.

Opera Tampa D'Angelo Young Artist Vocal Competition Finals
Melanie competed as one of five finalists in Opera Tampa’s annual D’Angelo Young Artist Vocal Competition. She took home Third Prize consisting of $1,000.

Melanie joins Grace Moravian Church for their third annual concert: “Still God’s Grace”. She sings Mozart’s complete Exsultate, jubilate K. 165 and Duet. “Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini” from Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio.

Melanie competed in the New York District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.
Opera Encounters - Composer Collaboration Project
Melanie and pianist Andrew Chen perform a world premiere written by composer Justin Weiss. This piece will be the culmination of the summer-long project in which singing artists from the AOTVA program work with composers from the Susan and Ford Schumann Center for Composition Studies to create a brand new piece of music.

Melanie sings as the Soprano Soloist in the world premiere of Samuel Adams’ First Work (AMFS co-commission) with the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble conducted by Timothy Weiss.

Melanie will cover the title role in the World Premiere of Christopher Theofanidis’ and Melissa Studdard’s Siddhartha, She, directed by Anne Patterson and conducted by Robert Spano.
