Melanie joins Grace Moravian Church for their third annual concert: “Still God’s Grace”. She sings Mozart’s complete Exsultate, jubilate K. 165 and Duet. “Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini” from Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio.

Melanie competed in the New York District of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.

Melanie and pianist Andrew Chen perform a world premiere written by composer Justin Weiss. This piece will be the culmination of the summer-long project in which singing artists from the AOTVA program work with composers from the Susan and Ford Schumann Center for Composition Studies to create a brand new piece of music.

Melanie sings as the Soprano Soloist in the world premiere of Samuel Adams’ First Work (AMFS co-commission) with the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble conducted by Timothy Weiss.

Melanie will cover the title role in the World Premiere of Christopher Theofanidis’ and Melissa Studdard’s Siddhartha, She, directed by Anne Patterson and conducted by Robert Spano.

Melanie and pianist Andrew Chen perform Alan Smith’s “Vignettes": Letters from George to Evelyn”, Prologue and Mvt. 1 “Stationed in Europe”. This program of art song will be directed by Myra Huang and Cameron Stowe.

Melanie performs on the annual 2025 AOTVA Opera Benefit hosted by Renée Fleming and Patrick Summers. She sings selections by Bernstein, Puccini, and Offenbach alongside Guest Artist Isabel Leonard.

Melanie performs scenes as Rodelinda in Handel’s Rodelina and Marie in Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment directed by Renée Fleming and Patrick Summers.
